The Blue Chip Conference boys basketball coaches met last night at Barr-Reeve High School to select the 2025-26 All Blue Chip Conference Boys Basketball Team.
Twelve young student-athletes were named to the team, including three-time honoree senior A.J. Foster of Loogootee and two-time selections Will Lyon, Loogootee junior; Adam Dooley, Northeast Dubois senior; and Wood Memorial seniors Parker Conder, Houston Schoonover, and Chad Sullivan.
The remaining selections were Sam Beck, junior, and Keyton Jones, senior of Northeast Dubois; Barr-Reeve’s Jaylon Graber, sophomore, and Kierson Lengacher, junior; and South Knox’s Levi Loudermilk, sophomore, and Cole Worland, freshman.
NED’s Dooley has also been a three-time All-BCC cross country runner and one-time track honoree, while Kierson Lengacher is a two-time tennis selection, including this past Fall’s tennis season. Will Lyon also received tennis honors this year, while Loudermilk and Sullivan were named to the 2025 soccer team. Houston Schoonover has also been selected to the past two All-BCC baseball teams.
SK’s Worland became the Blue Chip Conference’s tenth boys freshman named to the team following four-time selections Ryan Kerns (NK), Nick Duncheon (BR), Ethan Knepp (BR) Conner Wittmer (L), Jordan Meurer (NK), Addison Wagler (BR), Paxon Bartley (WM) and Peyton Bledsoe (L) and two-time honoree Lathan Falls (WM).
Barr-Reeve was the conference champion with a perfect slate, and co-runners-up were Northeast Dubois and Wood Memorial.
Season highlights include BCC scoring champion Houston Schoonover with a total of 133 points (16.6 ppg) and Parker Conder as the conference rebounding leader with 44 (5.5rpg). Conference assist leader was Chad Sullivan with 40 in eight games for a 5.0 apg average, and steals champion was Chad Sullivan with 27 (3.4 spg).
Three boys basketball players joined the 1000 point club this year: Wood Memorial’s Houston Schoonover, who finished his career with 1,327 and Parker Conder, 1,165 and A.J. Foster of Loogootee, who completed a stellar career with 1,094 points.
These three were joined by girls basketball players Lexi Primus of North Knox who ended her career with 1,218 and South Knox junior Kendal Hill who will enter her senior season with 1,117 points.
